Publisher Description
iPause is a set of labyrinths used for meditation and prayer.
!!! An App Store "Staff Favorite" for the week of January 25th, 2010 !!!
Deep, cleansing breaths, the sound of a babbling brook gently slapping against rocks, and relaxing leisurely strolls through a labyrinth. What do these three things have in common? They all have a natural soothing and calming effect on the body, mind and soul. iPause for iPhone or iPod Touch puts these same therapeutic effects right in your pocket or purse.
Used for centuries for meditation and prayer, labyrinths lend an inner peace for those who seek deep self-reflection. There is nothing more peaceful than just sitting in thought, and letting your mind relax and expand. In today s busy world of multi-tasking and multi-stressing, it seems as if that kind of relaxation is nothing more than a fond memory.
With iPause for your iPhone or iPod Touch, you can find tranquility wherever you happen to be. Just open the app, choose one of six soothing labyrinths and let your inner journey begin. Watch the translucent green glass marble make its way through the winding pathways, or push it along with your finger as soothing background music eases you deeper into your meditation. Adjust the speed of the marble and the music volume with the easy-to-use slider bars. As you concentrate on the marble, you are immersed in contemplative thought and your worries are washed away.
Whatever your reason for wandering the serene corridors of these labyrinths, you're sure to arrive at the center refreshed and focused. With iPause on your iPhone or iPod Touch, you always have the ability to sneak away for a few minutes and recharge your spiritual batteries.
Our thanks to "Labyrinthos.net" for these beautiful labyrinth designs.
Requires iOS 6.1 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
